Coach Mike Adams
The High School I attended was a vocational school, so I did not have a chance to play basketball for the school, as we did not have a team. I was actually a passionate 1st base baseball player until I realized at the age of 16, that there is a reason that there are no 6’10″ professional baseball players.
Already being athletic and having great role models to guide me, basketball was a relatively easy transition for me and I love it! I want to coach the kids of today as I had great role models growing up and I want to give other kids the same opportunity to excel. Of course, my Mom has always been my backbone and makes me want to strive to be a better person every day.
However, my Middle School baseball coach always was and continues to be my motivation. Even though I haven’t played for him in over 15 years, we still keep in touch. It would bring me great joy to provide that same mentorship and become a meaningful part of other children’s lives.
