At ATTACK Basketball Academy (ABA), we work with kids from third grade through high school in a positive and growth-oriented atmosphere that promotes a whole-body approach to well-being. Our programs are designed not only to improve your child’s ability on the court, but also to teach him or her valuable skills that will serve them throughout their lives.
ABA is a year-round basketball program serving the Dallas, Texas area, geared towards developing youth in the game of basketball and in life.
Our mission is to help youth from many different backgrounds master fundamental basketball and life skills, including personal accountability, a high work ethic, and both the ability to lead and work as a team player. We coach, encourage and motivate our players to achieve their goals, no matter how big they may be.
We focus on training and improving the skills of the individual athlete, which takes much more than just playing in basketball games. To master the sport, athletes need an effective training regimen for basketball skills, strength, and endurance training, not to mention the patience and commitment to practice and the mindset of a leader. As Coach Charlie would say, “Practice 5 times as much as you play.”
Founded in 2009, Head Coach Charlie Miller established ABA after over 30 years playing and coaching basketball. From middle school through college, to playing professionally and internationally, Coach Charlie found his passion for basketball at a young age. He has coached thousands of players around the world and specializes in a combination of mental and physical conditioning that is tailored to each player’s strengths and areas of improvement. We offer several types of training programs, depending on your child’s skill level and goals for growth. From individual to small group training, teams, camps, skills workshops and even at-home or virtual training options, we’ve created multiple ways for you to find the best program to fit you – and your developing athlete’s – needs.
